Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix HD DVD to debut new online community features {Engadget HD}
Nov 21st 2007 4:03PM I have both formats and this is one of the dumbest ideas ever. First off wouldn't it just be easier to just invite those people over to watch the movie with you or just you and the other person your watching the movie with push the play button at the same time and talk with that person on the phone? Second the temptation to use this feature to annoy the other viewing parties (pausing, fast forwarding) would just ruin the movie viewing experience.

40GB PS3 official for Europe -- no backwards compatibility, at all {Joystiq}
Oct 5th 2007 12:54PM Why do people keep saying that this new PS3 is not backwards compatible at all? They handle it now through software emulation. So for now all of the games won't work but eventually will through software updates.
HD DVD is more popular on Netflix {Engadget HD}
Oct 4th 2007 7:59PM Why does every post about the format war become a pissing match? The fact of the mater is that no one can predict the future and with such little information supporting both sides at this point in time no one can tell who is going to "win".

Oct 3rd 2007 10:45AM So people are saying that they are going to release a product at 250$ and then in a month mark it down to 200$. That has got to be the dumbest decision ever.
