Trying to game the system by buying games at a discount from Gamestop and turning around and reselling them to Microsoft would only net you value of the Microsoft resale library. The least this system would do is make Gamestop more competitive with thier buyback values and used prices.

Mar 13th 2008 12:34PM Except that this type of activity, specific exclusions of a business entity in order to further a specific company's intrests, is illegal under monoply laws. With the BDA already have been investigated for this type of activity, I doubt they've placed any restrictions on MS and the use of Blu-Ray. It would be similar to MS preventing the BDA from using VC-1 on their discs. It's lawsuit territory.

Sep 26th 2007 6:08PM In terms of bang for your buck, let's say admission to Spider-Man 3 was $8. For a 140 minute runtime you're paying $3.43/hour. At that rate Halo 3 would have to net you 17.5 hours of playtime.
Considering how much I played Halo 2, that should be a snap.
