Poll: How's your Palm Pre holding up? {Engadget}

Jul 3rd 2009 6:22PM I'm now on my 9th or 10th Pre - I've actually lost count. I returned the first one because something was wrong with the battery. It only lasted about an hour, but later I learned that the multitasking was killing it. The second one went back because of poor build quality - the keys on the keyboard were way to close together making typing impossible. The third one went back because I couldn't get it to sync my contacts through iTunes. The fourth went back because I couldn't access more than about 50 apps for purchase in the store. I returned the fifth because I sliced my thumb on the plastic edge -- this must have been a manufacturing defect, but I must admit the other ones since seem just as sharp. The sixth went back because it was rounding off the corners of my photos and movies. The seventh went back because it got real hot when I left it in the car all day -- I think it was retrieving too much hotmail. The eight and ninth went back because by this time I had put Pre returns into my daily routine. I returned the tenth Pre because let's face it, it is no iPhone. I'm now trying to find which of the fifty states will allow me to marry my iPhone 3GS.

iPhone SDK comparison chart {Engadget}

Mar 6th 2008 4:16PM Funny. I just downloaded the iPhone SDK and it didn't cost me $99. $99 is only if you decide to distribute your apps through Apple.
