Apr 8th 2006 6:46PM i couldn't agree more regarding golf in hi-def. the masters on usa/cbs is looking fantastic so far, but from what i understand, augusta has been "prepped" for hd broadcasting by means of fiber runs throughout the course, and the occasional use of the new wireless cameras as well. i think we can all appreciate the enormous amount of infrastructure and equipment needed to broadcast golf in HD; my fingers are crossed for the 2007 season being the breakout year for pga tour golf in HD, at least at the majors.
