Logitech's V550 Nano Clip-and-Go Mouse with 18 months of go at a clip {Engadget}

Aug 13th 2008 10:09AM On the VX Nano I have you can't use the wheel for clicking, but there's a button on the mouse immediately behind the wheel that serves that function; so doesn't seem that big of a deal to me at least

PS3 firmware 2.40 update coming tomorrow {Engadget}

Jul 1st 2008 12:13PM I think the Twonky Vision media server is the one that I got to technically stream the station, but the stream always dies after 30 min.. not sure if it's the server or PS3 that is having heart burn.

PS3 firmware 2.40 update coming tomorrow {Engadget}

Jul 1st 2008 10:31AM Is there any chance they're including a PSP-esque media player that can do internet radio (shout cast) ... cause that's about the only thing I'd care about seeing right now. tried a lot of the suggested methods for rolling it myself, but nothing has really worked as it should (open to suggestions)

U-verse subscriber answers: Is it worth it? {Engadget HD}

Apr 23rd 2008 12:03PM i've had it now for a couple months. It's fine, with more HD offerings than Time Warner.. but you still feel like an early adopter with it; things (esp the DVR) are kind of glitchy.. software has the feeling of being brittle.. either forgetting to record things, or once I had it record something on its own (and there's no such equivalent "tivo suggestions" feature). And of course, no cable cards so using a Tivo is a hassle at best. SD really is a lot better than time warner though, I'll give them that. I'll stay with them for now... just hope their DVR software gets better here soon (or work some kind of thing out with Tivo).. biggest gripe.

Apple and Starbucks join up for iTunes WiFi purchases {Engadget}

Sep 5th 2007 8:05PM I wish they applied the starbucks integration concept to internet radio.. Streaming from your favorite station (radioparadise), having the song title tag fed into a seach of itunes, and then a 1 click purchase (perhaps with a few pennies kicked back to the internet radio station as some kind of affiliate program)... now that would be cool, for all parties involved..
