Ever heard of bendable fiber? it's a non issue.
Also Don't jump to conclusions. Fiber can be bundled with copper for power without interference because it's light. Intel is proactive in making Lightpeak a powered connection.
USB 3.0 held back by lack of Intel chipset support? {Engadget}
Oct 22nd 2009 12:44PM You guys jumping to conclusions. Light Peak will have copper wound in for power. At the time of demonstration Intel didn't have time to put in copper because they just wanted to demonstrate speed.
Light Peak will carry power in the final spec.

Sep 24th 2009 3:52PM It love having just one standard connection and this looks like that perfect solution. The hackintosh could mean Apple and Intel are codeveloping it and will most likely replace Firewire.

I may not want an elaborate speaker setup or the clutter of a separate set of speakers. The pursuit of thinness is crazy because they're already damn thin. I want improvements of components inside rather than shrinking them.
AT&T, Apple and Google respond to the FCC over Google Voice and the iPhone App Store {Engadget}
Aug 21st 2009 5:42PM at&t does have more to lose because of the free sms and international calling rates. at&t tells the truth that they do not have any control of the app store but they did set strict guidelines on what apps can be used on their network. All Apple is doing is following the terms in their agreement. As for Apple's Visual Voicemail, that's not much of a threat because the people who use GV are using a different number from their personal number so they don't get a lot of junk messages. They still have Apple Visual Voicemail for personal calls.
at&t is the loser here.
