May 11th 2008 1:03PM anyone else hear the turbo? I think if the engine is going to be of German build it could possibly be a small turbo'd gas engine, being that its main purpose is to charge the l-ion batteries?... I think this car is sexy as hell man i would definitely consider this one over the tesla (which i am a huge tesla fan) if the price is right. I am still waiting for some spy shots of the "whitestar" from tesla. It is supposed to be in the ballpark of half the price of the roadster....lets cross our fingers. Go Fisker!!!! Go Tesla!!!

Apr 14th 2008 2:16PM I work at cc and i had heard maybe 2 months or so ago that there were rumors that Best Buy and Circuit City would cease to carry cd's and dvd's other than new releases. I don't know how true those rumors were but I can see it now......how Verizon is embedded in cc I could see a blockbuster counter and rental section in-store....and cc removing the aisles of mixed and out of order dvd's and cd's......kc i do believe there have been some proposals before i just think cc sat on their ass and did nothing with it..........besides that WalMart as far as i know only sells cd's that are censored or "clean"........and frank just because you go into one and have a bad experience because of your impatience it doesn't mean they are all bad.
I do believe that if blockbuster did buy out Circuit City it would be a good thing, I think CC needs change especially seeing their stocks plummet over two years....a steady downhill trend with an eventual bankruptcy unless someone saves them...

Feb 18th 2008 1:37AM Yeah I work on the product flow team at a circuit city store and we have been pulling large quantities of hd dvds off the shelf to send back. I think we are keeping a few just to sell through them then thats it. I foresee a planogram change in the near future for the home entertainment blu-ray/hd dvd section. I'm glad to see blu-ray win. I feel the pure fact that it has a higher capacity than hd dvd is enough on its own to win the war. higher quality content, i.e. picture and sound, takes more space so from a future ability standpoint I back blu-ray, apparently I'm not alone lol.
