HTC Touch Diamond shots and specs: this week's big announcement? {Engadget}

May 3rd 2008 10:12PM Anyone else notice the shape of the port on the bottom? It has a USB logo beside it, but the shape of the connector isn't right. It should have two dog-ears, not one... Is HTC moving to a truly proprietary connector?

Samsung BD-P1400 review {Engadget HD}

Feb 28th 2008 4:45PM Wow that's a pretty all encompassing blanket statement you're making there. I have this player running the current/latest firmware. It has problems. Just the other night, the player had problems playing the normal DVD version of Big Fish. Perhaps you should check the AVS forum thread on this player before you make such asinine comments. I like this player, I'm not trashing it, I'm just stating the absolute fact that it does have some problems even with the latest firmware.

Samsung BD-P1400 review {Engadget HD}

Feb 28th 2008 3:52PM You are correct in the incompatibilities. It should be noticed that this review only really touched on the features of the player and barely considered real world use. While I agree this is one of the better players out there currently (have one myself) the player still has major flaws and anyone buying into bluray right now needs to be aware that, even though these are 3rd or 4th generation players, you're still on the "bleeding edge" of a still very immature technology that has major bugs to work out.

SpinVox app for BlackBerry integrates voicemail with contacts {Engadget Mobile}

Feb 26th 2008 6:31PM I've had SPINVOX now for almost 3 years and preach it to anyone who'll listen. I never check my voicemail anymore, just wait for the sms or email to arrive with the text of it. I love forwarding the interpreted text to the people who left the voice mail because it always gets a funny reaction since people often times don't really realize what they're saying in their messages.

Dec 3rd 2007 8:46PM Not quite there, cowboy. Neither the 2125 nor the 3125 had/have wifi.

HTC's Touch with TouchFLO -- the Elf with new 3D sweep interface {Engadget}

Jun 5th 2007 10:43AM Why no IPhone related posts? Because it's before noon and the fanboys all still asleep as a result of staying up late creating websites for their cats.
