Verizon to unveil Droid Eris phone for $99 -- and kills Sprint Nextel's $180 price for the HTC Hero {BloggingStocks}

Nov 5th 2009 3:11PM I waited for the longest for the Hero to come to Sprint... Not sure why Sprint didn't keep the original style of the Hero... It was so much sexier... This new one looks like your average every day plastic phone... I ended up not switching because of how much i hated the restyling of the phone...

We'll see what happens... looks like phone companies are starting to pick up the slack on looks and features... Just gotta find a way for these Cell companies to stop butchering them...

Netflix coming next month to PlayStation 3 {Engadget HD}

Oct 26th 2009 9:15AM It be interesting to find out if you always have to put that disc in, or if its just an install disc... From reading the press release, it looks like you always have to put the disc in with the quote "Netflix members simply slide the disc into their PS3 systems to reveal movies and TV episodes that can be watched instantly."

But anyways, good for the PS3... JIT for xmas... I wonder how the menu system will compare to the 360's menu system... Cuz i'll tell ya, the 360s menu system is pretty awesome...

Hulu might be looking to subscriptions to turn digital pennies into digital dollars {Engadget HD}

Oct 22nd 2009 1:54PM I'd pay if it was for Starz/HBO/show or big movie channels like that... Not a lot, but as long as that package included commercial free TV shows, and no more Viewing Windows... Plus they have to fix the buffering system... I like how netflix does the buffering and quality changing on-the-fly...

But for what they have now... nah, wont pay... im cool with the single commercials per break...

Oct 14th 2009 1:52PM a lot of people lose site by the purchase of the actual phone... they go withbig companies cuz they get a free phone or something under $50... but in the end, its cheaper to do a plan like this... IF you keep your phone longer than a year of course...

Popcorn Hour C-200 hands-on {Engadget}

Sep 25th 2009 3:58PM Its hard to want popcorn hour with the Zino coming out... I think for a media player i'd like to have access to Hulu and Netflix. Esp since hulu is going to be going premium (rumor)... So, running XBMC with e-Sata HDD on something like the Zino would be completely ideal... But like Rick said, a PS3 or even the 360 would be a better deal... The 360 since you can run Netflix right thru the box... And esp since WDLive is only like 99 bucks....

hmph... Smaller, sexier, more access... thats what i want in my media room...
