Aug 26th 2006 9:32AM Blu-ray doesn't NEED 50GB DL discs. IF HD-DVD can make great looking discs at 30GB, there is NO reason the blu-ray camp cannot produce good discs on 25GB. It's the CODEC!!!!! If blu-ray used a more effiecient CODEC than MPEG-2, 25GB would be fine.

Aug 10th 2006 6:34PM Sinclair owns the ABC affiliate in the Greensboro NC market and will NOT provide TW with an HD Feed. No superbowl in HD last year. FOX is in HD on our TWC.

Jul 30th 2006 7:25PM I looked closely at both the blu-ray and hd-dvd displays at best buy. Both connected to samsung displays. Blue-ray had a lot of macroblocks in the picture when you looked closely, hd-dvd was crisper and better looking imo.
