The Bill Day giveaway (part 1) - Toshiba Gigabeat T400 {Engadget}
Jun 28th 2008 10:56AM Interesting, I never really saw these devices in use. But speaking of Media Center, I do think it has a really good interface. I just wish they would add MKV and Blu-Ray support (or even with the Xbox 360).

Jun 28th 2008 10:54AM I've actually been pretty satisfied with Vista. SP1 definitely did a lot, and I just started using it at work. I've been running it at home since the Longhorn betas on and off.

Jun 28th 2008 10:53AM I just bought the iPod Touch, and it is great for apps and web-browsing. However I can't really use it to listen to in the car, because I can't look at the screen and change music while driving. I miss tactile buttons for that purpose.

Comcast claims more HD than anyone, anywhere {Engadget HD}
May 19th 2008 2:28PM Not to nitpick, but this article could use some editing:
"people who like movies WANT WATCH them on their schedule"
"Adding MGM HD and Fuse HD won't hurt that "choices count at all and Variety has the lowdown on MGM's price, with a 50-cents per customer rate, whenver it is avialable, it'll definitely be something customer's have to pay extra for."
Besides multiple misspellings ("whenver", "avilable"), this sentence doesn't even make any sense. Definitely subpar compared to Engadget's usual high standards.
Ask Engadget: Subnote or full-sized laptop for university use? {Engadget}
May 15th 2008 7:55PM You could enroll in a school that provides you with a laptop. The university I graduated from has been providing computers for over 15 years as part of tuition costs. This year they decide to provide only Macs, with both OS X and Windows installed in a dual-boot configuration.
