Nov 6th 2009 3:25PM Myself and my friends weren't going to buy the game at $50. It wasn't enough value over the first game, and presumably why people were screaming that it could have been DLC. We were planning to wait 2-3 months until half price weekend, which is when we all bought L4D.
However, Steam ran the B3G1 deal with 10% off. For only $33.75/ea, we could get the game at launch instead of waiting for a $25 deal 3 months after launch (presumably after the Christmas season).
