Audi aims to produce electric car within ten years {Engadget}
May 5th 2008 12:21PM Fusion is a long way off. Most estimates I've heard are 50+ years before we can safely contain a reaction big enough to generate enough power to be useful.
Though I agree that fusion is a long term goal, we should concentrate more on solutions we can achieve more quickly such as solar, wind and fission reactors

Mar 25th 2008 1:27PM What's really funny is still seeing you on here raving about this stuff. Then realizing you're still searching the internet for articles, just so that maybe you can come back with a "I told you so" post.
I sure hope you're being paid for this, because if you're not you must have one pathetic life.

Feb 12th 2008 12:14PM If they're looking for people to hire that can spin any bad news into good they should hire nfinity & tt. Well actually, maybe they already have. I've suspected they've been paid spinners from the start.
HD movie downloads to trump Blu-ray / HD DVD? Not so fast. {Engadget HD}
Feb 2nd 2008 10:43PM @TruthTeller
Please give it a rest. Your like a broken record, skipping and playing the same stuff over and over and over. Not even a good one at the more like that horrible song "Walk the dinosaur".
You've been exposed!!! You have zero!!!! credibility anymore.
In 1 year the difference in price between HD-DVD and Blu-ray will be so negligible that no-one will notice. This will be about the same time that enough people will own HD Tv's that there will be enough people to make the numbers you complain about not meaning anything actually mean something.
One thing this article shows though is that at some point HD VOD will be competition for the HD disk formats. In order for it to compete effectively it's going to need other markets than movie sales to help keep prices pushing lower. Blu-ray has data storage. This is a market that HD-DVD has zero chance in. The 30GB limit is just plain to small. When you can now buy DL-DVD's below $1 a piece why would anyone even consider HD-DVD for data. HD-DVD is a dead technology. It's nothing more than DVD with a better laser. It reminds of a nice 2 car that has 4 seats, but those back two are great when your just a couple and even works when the kids are 5-6 years years old. Now though the kids are getting up there and they're getting squished in the back. Sure you can make them fit, but wouldn't it be better to just go ahead and move on to the the next size up so that you've got room to grow

Jan 15th 2008 10:02AM With the convergence of tv's and monitors higher resolutions are definately going to be needed. I have a 52" 1080P LCD tv which I use as a computer monitor and it's not big enough for me to read everything when I sit 10 ft away. 57" would be just about right, but when I tried it the picture looked worse since it didn't have good enough resolution. 2160P would be perfect for a 65"
