Feb 21st 2008 2:21PM I live in manhattan as well and have the same issues with time warner. It sucks! I use to live in the Lower East Side and was able to get RCN instead of Time Warner. So much better, but my current apartment in the Upper East Side is only wired for Time Warner. Totally blows. The worst part is their customer service, they don't give a rats @$$ about anything. My cable modem, which time warner provides, has been flakey as of late. I thought it was my router, but i replaced it and i still have the same issues. I called Time Warner and they literally said "It's not our problem". So frustrating!
