I'm glad it's $15, I thought it would be $20 for sure. If PSN gets more "short games" like this, that will REALLY give it a leg up.
And what a great way for a developer to "test out" a game--put a short game up on PSN (but full PS3 quality) and see how it sells. If it does well, then produce a full game.

Jul 15th 2008 5:34PM Engadget: Sony IN NO WAY said that they were ditching backwards compatibility, that's a bad inference.
RATHER, the current 40GB non-BC sku is getting a hard drive bump to 80GB. That is all the announcement said.
It's much more likely to assume that what is now the "big" system" (80GB) will get a hard drive bump as well (120GB or even 160GB). Otherwise, why would they call their new version the "Core" system?

Jul 14th 2008 4:15PM MS just kicked the PS3 in the nuts REALLY hard by stealing away FFXIII. There is no end of hugeness to that victory.
I'm a PS3 owner, but I still have to (begrudgingly) congratulate the 360 on this one. Way to use your deep pockets wisely, MS. You just stole the PS3's biggest system-seller of the year.

Jul 14th 2008 4:04PM This is without a doubt the biggest failure for Sony on the PS3 yet, no joke. FFXIII had the potential to be the biggest system-selling game for the year for Sony. There are no decent RPGs right now, and FF is the biggest of all.
For Sony to loose exclusivity for FF is HUGE! Not only will it be bad for the PS3, but it shows conclusively that Sony is not in it to "win" for the PS3, they simply want to make a little money. Otherwise, they would have ponied up for exclusivity.
This is just unbelievable.
I suppose they'll sell off God of War next.
