So, unless regularly rub your phone on your crotch, these are useless.
Not to mention that "silver-threaded" cloth is not proven to prevent anything.

Mar 28th 2007 12:02PM Microsoft REALLY dropped the ball with this one. I'm a huge Xbox 360 fan, just as I was a huge PS2 fan because i like the systems with best games (I know, wierd, huh?). I was really looking forward to buying this. My projector's HDMI board is a lot better than its analog (component_ board) so the HDMi would be good for me. Plus, i hate how loud my 360 is...
but WAIT! THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BE PUTTING IN THE NEW, COOLER, QUIETER CHIPS!!! WTF?!?!?!?!
yep, not gonna happen until the fall. congrats microsoft, you just lost $480 from me. why would anyone want to upgrade to this new "Elite" 360 when the new, cool, and quiet chips are coming soon? DOESN"T MAKE SENSE! Ill upgrade this fall and wait.
makes me want to buy a PS3...almost. if i just wanted to play resistance over and over, i would, but i like a variety of games.
but microsoft messed up with this. they had a great chance to make the Elite have EVERYTHING, but they didn't. too bad.

They have an Xbox360 license plate, they bought 4 consoles at launch (for NO reason, you only need 1), and they probably wear Xbox360 clothes. Don't get me wrong, I like my 360, but I have limits. These people are absolute IDIOTIC LOSERS WITH NO LIFE.
That being said, they're probably so stupid that they don't know how to take care of a console. They probably poured syrup on it thinking it was a stack of pancakes and then blamed Microsoft. How these people made enough money to blow it on a bunch of Microsoft stuff is beyond me.

Jan 15th 2007 8:32PM yes, 1080p for HD DVD is meaningless, and no, not for the above reasons.
the fact is, if your player outputs 1080i and your TV is 1080p, your TV will simply de-interlace the data, making it AS GOOD AS native 1080p. the deinterlacers in today's TVs are as good as most source's ones.
god I hate Blu Ray's blind supporters. show me 1, I mean 1, movie on Blu Ray that looks better than HD DVD ona reference TV and I'd give you a million dollars. Cause it doesnt exist, that's why.

Jan 8th 2007 7:49PM now the PS3 might be worth owning for FPSs. as a rabid FPS console fan (PC FPS arent fun b/c they are too easy, noobs get too many headshots, its about hiding behind boxes instead of actual firefights) i love the 360 and its controller. the PS3 controller is great, except having the sticks at the same level is STUPID. the 360 is FAR superior and i hope everyone hacks their PS3s so they can enjoy games like Resistance like they were meant to be played.

Actually, you are the bitch, sir. While you've been working construction and making an hourly wage, I bought my Xbox 360 and have been enjoying great games online and offline for over 1 year.
Once the Zephyr comes out, you will still be too poor to buy it (the exact reason why you didn't buy the first Xbox360) while I will simple buy it again and sell my old one.

Why is everyone crying about enjoying 1+ years of excellent entertainment? Dec 1st 2006 4:53PM you dont need a display device with 120hz, that is unnecessary. all you need is a device that can display 24hz AND 60hz. you wont find in LCD, you will find that in DLP, which is superior to LCD in image quality anyway.
the infocus 4805 can do it all and many other DLP devices can as well, the colorwheel just slows down or speeds up.
