Nov 11th 2007 11:36AM Question about Toshiba HD XA2 player displaying 1080p/24...
I am able to get 1080p/24 on my PS3 for BD movies and confirm by displaying info screen on my Pioneer 60" Kuro. However, when I upgraded my XA2 firmware to enable the 1080/24, it doesn't display properly. The screen flickers and when I play an HDDVD it's still reading at 1080p/60. Is there a problem with the Toshiba XA2 latest firmware??? I'm pissed about this considering it cost me $800 and obvious poor quality control at Toshiba! :<
Also wondering if Toshiba has really cut corners in their products, hence, they can sell their A2's at a really low price point (even profit losing?). If this is the case, I'm going to consider selling my XA2 asap to reduce my losses while I can...
