Mar 5th 2008 9:14PM Because Toshiba just let HD-DVD die given the fact that it was the most mature format; I have stopped buying movies altogether. The only way I will subscribe to downloads is if they are of the same quality as the HD-DVD media and has menus navigation like their disc media counterparts.

Jul 18th 2007 3:11PM The current hybrids are a scam. If they truly wanted to make a hybrid that gets close to 100 MPG all they would have to do is use the same technology that’s been deployed in diesel locomotives for the past 30 years.
Use a diesel engine as an electric generator to power an electric motor or motors. You can have a small engine produce enough power to turn a 250 horse power equivalent electric motor. You could remove the transmission to lighten the vehicle which will increase gas mileage. If you add biodiesel to the mix you could have a closer to green car.
