Did... did... you just list... Pacman... as a reason to buy a 360?

Telus TV nets Super Channel stations in Alberta / BC, Canada {Engadget HD}

Dec 2nd 2008 12:39PM Anyone use Telus TV for HD? I cancelled my Shaw awhile back (didn't watch it enough, probably reactivate it in a few months), but curious if Telus's offering is actually decent, I don't know anyone that uses it, and haven't heard much good.

Rogers iPhone 3G in-store activation process gets detailed {Engadget}

Jun 30th 2008 10:19AM Argh.. I'm really torn here. On the one hand if I go iPhone I'll be giving up my grandfathered $50/unlimited GPRS data plan (with Tethering apparently).. but on the flip I'll have an iPhone vs a crappy Treo 680, and if I go for the 750 meg plan I'll probably save a few bucks a month vs the plan i'm on now. And the free hotspot access would actually be of benefit for where I live. I honestly wanted to wait for the Xperia but $200... that's mighty tempting.

I'd like to say screw you Rogers and protest their pricing, but I'm a mobile-data junkie. Bell's $7 a month for the Touch seems decent but not convinced WinMobile's onscreen keyboard will be of any use. Any other Canadians out there know any decent options?

Ask Engadget HD: Which gaming console suits HD junkies best? {Engadget HD}

May 28th 2008 12:32PM I have a PS3 and a Wii hooked up to my HDTV. The Wii is out of the equation I think in this since we're not talking about who has the best games. I prefer the PS3 because of BD but also because of it's other media options. I server music and movies from Mediatomb running on my Linux Server. Getting that operational took very little time (maybe an hour or two including server install) Folding@Home I find is quite impressive to "show off" your TV, and the PSP Integration with RemotePlay is pretty nifty too, especially since you no longer have to leave your PS3 on all the time.

I imagine since you have a BD Player already, either PS3 or 360 would make you happy, but personally I'd go PS3 for all of it's media integration.

Sony VP promises in-game XMB, NA video download service, PlayStation Cards in '08 {Engadget}

Apr 16th 2008 9:54AM "for the five people who play games on their PS3s!"

Wow that joke never gets old or anything.. what next call 360 users XBots? Or how the Wii is a kiddie console?

Back on TOPIC, I think this is great news... if they can add Home at least as a Beta to the lineup this could be pretty sweet, and long over due.

HD DVD and Blu-ray releases on March 18th, 2008 {Engadget HD}

Mar 17th 2008 9:49AM I wonder if the Blu vs SD release posts will get as heated as the Blu vs HD posts of old.. I'll miss watching the monday morning flame fest. :(
