How about this for an inaccurate vignette: "I confirmed with the White House that the man Obama was referring to was Otto Raddatz" We know what it means, but we could say "It's just not true, as you can't confirm anything with a building."
If only it could be that the details of Otto's case aren't exactly the President's illustration, then no one has ever lost their coverage in the middle of treatment because their insurer found other unreported conditions. Oh wait, that part *is* exactly what happened to Otto. Hmmm, maybe that was his point.

But thinking about it for 2 seconds, I notice three gianormous flaws: 1) you can play music on anything that has a CPU; 2) the 10 billion players that are already out there can be used ad infintum; 3) and if you upgrade the memory in your player from 16GB to 16PB, then where do you send your $75,000,000 tax payment?

Sep 16th 2009 6:27PM That's not how checks work in the US banking system. By presenting the item as though it wasn't in error, she broke a number of laws. True, it was her *check* but a check isn't money, it's a demand for it against the account it's drawn on. The first $29 of it was "her money," the rest she took intentionally - knowing it wasn't hers. Even though you're not the one who got the cash from the $29,000 error, you should both accept similarly-sized additions to your integrities.

Apr 2nd 2009 10:11AM I don't drive recklessly, in fact, sometimes I think I'm the only one on the road that realizes my vehicle weighs thousands of pounds. But after 40 years of driving, I get a BS ticket every 5 or ten years and frankly, it's not right. I have to drive like it's my job to make ultra sure that the two-digit IQ traffic cops understand that I'm way within the law. These are the same cops and law that my community put in place to be there to protect me and mine - not persecute me! So I for one, think it's a good idea. But it will never work until the equipment is real-time in the car with you. If everybody who sees a speed trap could tap the top of their GPS as they drive by, and everybody with a GPS would know, maybe the cops would find something better to do instead of victimizing the very citizens that ultimately give them the authority to do their job.

You just wait until you're trying to get away from these things and they track you down where you live and camp outside your property line, waiting to chase you into a tunnel where you crash your car.

You have the right not to develop such products in your company, nor to allow any of these in your mall. Simply don't lease the space to them, and you won't have them.
Apparently, the folks who own *this* mall decided otherwise, and that's *their* right.
