GM asks Congress to kickstart its heart with ambitious plan {Autoblog}
Dec 2nd 2008 6:02PM For those who believe that saving the Big3 is going to save America in time of need. This down turn in the economy did not force the Big3 into this position. They did it to themselves with bad decision and poor planning and bad products. I ask, why should we Americans support any company that is run like the Big3? Just because they employee such a large workforce doesn’t mean they should allowed to continue to do so. If I was working for any one of the Big3 I would leave and fine a new job. I have a better idea than giving the GM 18 billion, use the money to build power plants (nuclear, wind, solar) or improve the U.S. transportation system like commuter trains and buses. Or here is an idea use the money to create jobs and not keep afloat a sinking ship.

Why cant I just get in my car get up to speed and hit the set button to set the cruise control. No need to turn on the $$$$ thing. Undercover Stangs: Indiana police to use unmarked Mustangs {Autoblog}
May 22nd 2008 2:01PM I have no problem with unmarked cars.
If an unmarked car with his lights on is pulling you over and your uncomfortable pulling on the side of the road for any reason. Slow down and take the next exit where there is a lighted gas station with people around. If you have a cell phone call 911 and ask for a marked police cruise to show up. This applied to men and women night or day.
Now. I understand that driving fast in crowd areas is stupid. But why do the cities planners feel the need to slow down the traffic to stupidly slow speeds. If you know fluid dynamics the more volume you have for a set path the faster the fluid is going to go or the fluid is going to back up. (not saying drive 90mph, but 55 or slower is stupid) One solution is make the roads wider, this works only if people learn to drive (slower traffic stay to the right, does not matter if you are doing the speed limit stay to the right).
Now on an open road alway from the city low traffic. Why can't you drive 80 or even 90 in a car design for speed. If people learn to drive (check your blind spots before changing lane, oh and look behind you for cars coming faster than you)(Germans know how to do this, Autobahn) Oh and STAY TO THE RIGHT OF THE ROAD. Speed is not the cause of crashes and deaths on the roads. It is people you don't understand how to drive. Driving is not a right it is a privilege.
Detroit News columnist Rex Roy: "Irrational greenies, hands off my V-8" {Autoblog Green}
Mar 28th 2008 9:39AM First and for most I believe that we all should do our part in saving resources. I would love to have a fully electric car to go back and forth to work. (no need to go fast just to get to work) That said, I love the sound and the power of a big V-8. But there is no need to drive one everyday. Keep the V-8 and V-12, let them stay in the special sport car and supersport cars. Like collectors cars, they wouldn't be driven everyday and would not cause that much of a problem for the environment.

Jul 11th 2007 11:55AM What are you smoking people. There is nothing wrong with the size of the wheels. The wheels look great. Do you realize how big this car is, smaller wheels would just like stupid on this car.
