Oct 11th 2009 8:33AM If this trend continues, I see a whole new Bluetooth device becoming popular -- The Bluetooth remote handset. Looks like a tiny cell phone (complete with numeric keyboard), but is just a Bluetooth connection to the real, larger smart phone you keep in your pocket.
For those who don't like the Star Trac look pf the earpiece, and want a keypad, and don't want the look of holding a PDA to their head.

Oct 6th 2009 10:53AM Maybe they realized that they have a one-two punch with customer service and network quality, and could get a STRONG third punch with decent open equipment. This will command a premium price.
They'll never be the low-price player, and shouldn't be. You get what you pay for, and there are enough people out there willing to pay for it. Those that aren't willing to pay for a better experience aren't worth having as a customer, anyway.
