May 12th 2008 7:37PM Most 17 year olds have made a similar error in judgment??? No... a 17 year old error in judgement would be something like... taking out the family car without permission. Staying up all night at a party or playing halo rather than studying for midterms, even getting pregnant because no one thought about birth control.
Raping someone is not an error in judgement.

May 12th 2008 7:35PM exactly. Transformers received just as much online hate and fanboy displeasure and the raving hate still goes on to this day and yet it made over 300 million in america and over 700 million worldwide ( I looked that up ). People will make up their own minds on what they like.

May 12th 2008 6:39PM I find this to be sad, but not unexpected. There seems to be a fetishization of babies and children in this culture. At first the fascination was with dogs or cars but now we've turned our attention to babies and children and status symbols and fashin accessories... so I don't find it surprising at all that some "parents" would want their kids to look like/dress like them... after all, what good is a fashin accessory if it doesn't go with your outfit?

May 11th 2008 9:18PM That's funny.. I remember a movie called Transformers last year and everyone was panning it. Fanboys hated the new "bayformers" critics and film snobs were bemoaning that Michael Bay was making yet another movie... and I remember it bombing... wait.. what was that? It was one of the most successful movies of 2007?
Hmmm, I guess you're "if you think it, it will bomb" theory works not at all.

May 9th 2008 3:12PM It's not about the toy, it's about the behaviour and the mentality of people who think of these sort of immature violent outbursts as 'cool'.

May 9th 2008 1:04PM Reminds me of highschool. A couple of kids took an old piano out to the river bed and destroyed it. Nothing like pointless destruction to prove how angry you are.
