Apr 4th 2008 9:50PM Is this unit self-contained or is it an add-on for use with a PC? I have 3 TV's and would switch over to D*TV if these are standalones but I'm not ready to leave TiVo as of yet - and certainly n ot if I have to pick up 3 PC's as well. I'd leave for Media Center, but not for the HR20 - I'd probably still miss TiVo though.

I clicked the HD versions and watched them instantly (at most 5 mins later) after a quick run to the kitchen). I can say this: the reviewer ought to check his/her broadband connection. I had no delay whatsoever from click to watch.

Sep 14th 2007 11:24AM Isn't February 2007 going back a litle far to pull statistics for next generation sales? Heck that's 25% of either format's lifespan!! I thought there was a much more recent article out of CEDIA that showed HD-DVD had eclipsed Bluray sales for the first time in the last few months - isn't that more recent history?? Crap that quote came straight out of Sony's camp. Where's the link on that?

Sep 5th 2007 11:04AM Andrew: 1.0 has to be released BEFORE Oct 1st. After Oct 1st, 1.1 is a minimum. Also:
-Expect some funky interactivity from selected HD DVDs, as well as BD-Live. You can also use options such as Blu-View or Picture-in-Picture available from many Blu-ray discs. That means more directors commentary, storyboards and other tidbits.
-Don't these features indicate 2.0?? This whole "level of BR" is confusing - and a load of crap.
