Oct 21st 2005 6:20PM I think the best way to get people into HDTV is to convince hotels to switch their room TVs to HD. I know some high end "boutique" places are doing it but when most business hotels have it, people will take an interest. I'm sure this is what has driven a lot of folks to HBO.

Oct 7th 2005 1:56PM I think you're both wrong with 9 (RPTV sales) right now DLP and LCD RPTVs are way cheaper than the alternatives and I don't see that changing any time soon. If you want 50"+ on a budget, what else are you going to buy?

ESPN2 HD: One program in HD within 24 hours {Engadget HD}
Sep 9th 2005 6:00PM I really can't believe ESPN is launching a second HD channel when the first has hardly any HD material on it. I was going to invite some friends round to watch the Red Sox - Yankees game tonight in HD only it isn't. I have to say, I really hate those "ESPN HD" sidebars they put up when they're showing SD material on the HD channel too!
