Delta sucks (and modest proposal for how to treat people during delays) {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Aug 1st 2007 8:30AM Personally, I think this is a marketing ploy. The giants who own just a few of the airlines will take a few of their brands, sink them, then reposition their other brands as a customer service-oriented company to gain market share. Like the guy in one of the posts said, he'd be willing to pay an additional 25% for better service.
UMMM hasn't it occurred to anyone that that is what they want??? They're saving their service for the first and business classes. Also, if we actually complained and stopped using Delta, wouldn't that have more a better impact than to say, let's pay more money for what we should be getting in the first place. GEEZ, people. Grow some balls and a backbone.

Jun 1st 2007 4:52AM I think the AppleTV is definitely an elegant way to interface with the TV. But pretty much everyone who has a computer all ready has the capability to interface with a TV for a fraction of the cost. I don't get why it's such a big deal.
Right now, I have an HD to TV set-top box that connects and plays netflix "Watch it now" movies. It's called a laptop--one of my old ones with a vga to vga connection that still outputs pseudo-high def (based on connection speed) to my LCD HDTV. Oh yeah, I have an Apple TV except it's a hard drive connected to my wireless network and don't have to purchase movies on itunes to use it. PLUS, it interfaces with my DVR.
Nice try Apple. I still like you.
Cheers
