All I want to hear from Verizon Fios is when they are going to come up with a bigger and better HDDVR!

My FiOS TV (but not internet) has been janky today, I'm in SoCal, anyone else having this ?
It keeps losing the picture stream, the TV (Sammy LCD) just flashes some quick message about HD content (too quick to read) and goes to a blank green screen. It works for like 30 seconds and then that happens. Weird thing is there is still audio, and the video will work for a little bit after turning it off/on but then goes out again.
It's going through a Denon AVR-889 (audio sent to speakers, not passed to TV), and if I change to a different HDMI input, it doesn't happen. Running the XBox through HDMI is not doing it on either input so I don't think its the receiver (sure hope not).
Anyone else having issues?

Never do know but that sounds more like its on your end.
Verizon generally says if they're having problems in the area - think it was recording on the phone using 1800verizon?
Did you try unplugging the electronics, including the verizon box, from the electrical outlet and then plug them in again?
Try a different HDMI cable.
These 2 great steps take 5 min. or less.
I don't get what this is referring to "and if I change to a different HDMI input, it doesn't happen." If your referring to the verizon box you answered your own question and it would not be a verizon service issue unless the box was dieing, breaking, etc.. I assume its not referring to the xbox as that would be a repeat.

We got a handful of new HD channels for FIOS last weekend in North Jersey - including Comedy Central, MTV, Spike, VH1, and CMT. Not sure why you guys haven't reported it, despite my emailing you the news and posting it in one of the comments for another post. It sure seems like this post would be the perfect place to slip it in if you guys didn't want to make a separate post about it.

Except, they did post about it almost two weeks ago.
