LG introduces stylish, LED-backlit 22-inch W2286L LCD HDTV
By and large, there's nothing too incredible about LG's latest LCD HDTV. It's 22-inches, can double as a PC monitor, boasts a deceiving 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and consumes some 40 percent less power than the average Earth-hating 22-inch LCD. There's also a pair of HDMI sockets, a DVI port and a 1,680 x 1,050 resolution, not to mention an automatic brightness sensor that responds to ambient light. There's no word yet on how pricey the 20 millimeter-thick set will be nor when it'll ship stateside, but hopefully it -- along with its 24-inch Full HD sibling -- will make the trip in short order.

The recession is also hitting the asian model market too? Manufacturers- don't skimp when hiring your asian models. She doesn't entice me to buy the monitor/ TV.
Woof!

1680x1050? Really? While 1080p is overkill at 22", do you really want the crappy scaling that comes with missing out just 30 lines?

I bought benQ's 24" full 1920x1080 offering as my cheap entrance to the world of HD and I have not been disappointed.

I got a question, if DVI could be easily replace by a hdmi cord, is that not showing how the industry screwed us over by another un-needed and redundant connector that they forced on us? Come one hdmi only has 9 connectors, half which are for sound, and DVI has 29 connectors. Show more BS industry and win us over.
