Nice try... Stop pretending there is anything worth watching on. It's summer, and TV stinks. Time to venture out of my TV cave and see what's going on in the world...

HDTV Listings aren't about what's worth watching, it's about listing programmes that air in HD tonight. Whether you choose to cuddle up to someone on the sofa or go out is entirely up to you. However, if you deem that there is nothing worth watching then it does not render HDTV Listings useless. Also, as far as the stink of summer TV is concerned, I'm looking forward to Raising The Bar on TNT that should be back in a couple of weeks.

it's funny, i finally get my tuner card and software working how i like and there's nothing to watch

and no mention of starwars on MTVHD ah well glad I dont rely on this website as a tv guide lol
loadstar @ May 26th 2009 12:11AM
That's because there isn't a channel called "MTVHD." The HD service from MTV Networks is called Palladia, and is programmed separately from MTV. (It inherits some programs from MTV, VH1, and CMT, and a lot of programs not seen on other MTV Networks channels.)
In this case, the Star Wars movies airing on MTV are not being carried on Palladia - thankfully. Palladia is designed to be a high definition music channel, and so far is thankfully sticking to that. I'm not holding any hopes that will last for terribly long - I imagine the ratings for Palladia are dismal, and the ad rates are probably equally poor.

Are you living in a box? I have MTV HD right here with Star Wars in HD. Although it is not OAR, still nice picture.
Ivan @ May 26th 2009 12:24AM
It's not a TV Guide, it also doesn't mention repeats. Star Wars movies have previously aired in HD so there's nothing new there.

@Ivan
It doesn't say..."New shows in HD" it says.."What we are watching tonight"
I would hope everyone would watch Star Wars in HD before they watch a new show of John and Kate + 8.
Ivan @ May 26th 2009 6:54AM
...and since Rich never puts repeats on the listings it's safe to assume that only the new stuff makes it into his post.
