Cablevision iO TV adding 30, or 8, new HD channels

Cablevision is back at it again, forcing us out of the weekly update by dropping 30 new HD channels on Bronx and Brooklyn area customers, while all other areas should have 8 new channels to enjoy as of the 24th. Despite being a clearly shameless bid to replace RCN as the official service providers of Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz, we can find little wrong with these additions, thanks goes to SatteliteGuys.us for the list of channels.[Thanks, Jack]

...more useless HD channels to take up bandwidth from the more relevant HD channels. Get ready for some bitrate pillaging.

More channels are great but I think they need to up their quality first. The compression is crap over here.

I got the new channels on my lineup today, and I was all set to watch X-Play and Attack of The Show in HD.
Alas, they're broadcast in SD. :( Oh well.
Hopefully G4's E3 coverage will be in HD.

The rest of their systems will get the other 22 channels in June.
