but.... will this carry audio automatically over HDMI???
this is all fine and dandy, but something tells me this is just stupid to need to do this, Apple created Mini DisplayPort to not pay any patent fees of HDMI.
who knows i could be wrong.

May be Apple thinks that HDMI is a bag of hurt - nevermind that is what they told about Bluray.
But honestly, I have heard that DisplayPort is going to be better in the long run.

Man, I wish they would make a mini display port extension cable. I was hoping Monoprice would do something other than just make cheaper versions of what Apple already did. I hate the huge dongle hanging off my MacBook all day. The dongle is so short, and the DVI connector so bulky. Can't they make the cable longer?
