Sharp's 32- / 37-inch Blu-ray AQUOS LCD HDTVs up for pre-order
Right on cue, Sharp has offered two of its new Blu-ray-equipped AQUOS HDTVs up for pre-order. The 32-inch LC-32BD60U and 37-inch LC-37BD60U both feature 1080p panels, a trio of HDMI inputs, six millisecond response times and a slot-loading Blu-ray player on the side. Best of all, the 32-incher is coming up a dollar under a grand, while the 37-inch sibling will only run you $1,199. Sure, they're a bit pricey compared to optical drive-less alternatives, but if you've been holding off on simultaneously scratching the BD + new TV itch, here's your sign.

Interesting, however...
i cant tell the difference between 720p and 1080p at 32inch to justify the purchase when i can get a cheap sharp 720p for dirty cheap, plus if your tv goes out you are also out a blu ray player as well

This + the QAM tuner makes for the perfect bedroom tv. Its not even that i need the blue ray player on the smaller tv but its nice to be able to watch your netflix blue rays in the bedroom before sleep. This means that i can just wall mount a tv and connect up a power cord and cable cord. I will certainly be purchasing one of these.

Hnnnm im so tempted to get this. Its the right size for my room plus its full HD. But I am trying to get out of credit card debt and if i got this it would be with a credit card. I think i'll hold off.

Noooo!
It's people like you who are RUINING retail! Circuit City is no more because of you and your ilk. I hope you can sleep at night.
I'm just sayin...

Hmmm this is really tempting for a dorm room, will have to see how it compares to the Sony 32in XBR9 though. As much as I would love a built in BD player it really will come down to picture quality for me and price.

Very very nice, I am sure getting one of these, this will be perfect for the bedroom as 'normychas' said.
This makes life so easy to be able to wall mount these with a drive built in, nice work Sharp, you rock :-)
