‘For the first time in history’ ? I don’t think it’s such an historical event as say, the first worldwide radio broadcast, or the telegram…
All it means is we might be able to see a few more blemishes and wrinkles on the US president!

For better or for worse, like Reggie Jackson of the New York Yankess, the US is the straw that stirs the drink....love us or hate us, and there is plenty to dislike about us, this particular ceremony, whether seen on TV or read about in a newspaper, affects everyone else on the planet....good luck to us all.
