Well CES is over and it'll be an entire year until we get to do it all over again. Regarding the touch interface for media center, there is a very good use for it, if you can afford a setup that can take advantage of it. Some high end HTPC cases include an LCD display on them (some of which are touch capable). These are useful if you are trying to interact with your media center without the TV on (play music, check weather etc). Full control over the media center UI via touch would be a great addition. Otherwise you are standing in form of the screen (so that you are close enough to see it) with the remote, which is just silly.
Here is an example of an HTPC case with a large touch panel (capable of reproducing 1080 resolution so that you can mirror the display from your tv on the smaller screen):

Couldn't you do all the things in the touch screen demo of WMC 7 with a remote? For example, scrolling through the guide quickly, couldn't that be achieved by holding down that right arrow key? WMC would recognize that you've been holding the button down for "X" number of seconds so it would accelerate the scrolling.

Just watched all your Video demos Ben, thanks for all the Media Center updates. Whats up with the creepy background music in all of them?
