I've got a Samsung BD-P1500. It's 1.1 out of the box, but firmware-upgradeable to 2.0. Load time is decent...I'm watching the movie in less than 20 seconds after putting in the disc. That's an estimate...I'll try timing later.
I think a better poll to take is "who cares about load time on their Blu-Ray player". Suppose your player loads a disc in 4 seconds compared to my 20. Who cares?? Is that really what bragging rights have come down to? Unless I'm relying on an instructional Blu-Ray disc to show me how to perform the Heimlich on my wife who is choking on her popcorn, I really don't see the need for "fastest loading Blu-Ray player".
