PS3 is quickest. A little while back @ blu-ray.com had a speed check on players. It depends on what blu ray disc's, some load faster than others.

I have one of the 1.1 Sharp Aquos ones and it is always really slow but doesn't get very hot.

My PS3 in my bedroom has a fan and makes my room really hot but now its in my game room and doesn't heat the room up as bad. I'm not sure if its the fastest but the speed of the PS3 at loading discs is very very good it's pretty fast.
