The answer is the LG BD300 - and the interface is in HD. And it plays Netflix. And it's $288 at Amazon. And it looks nice. And the tray opens the second you push eject.

My PS3 in my bedroom has a fan and makes my room really hot but now its in my game room and doesn't heat the room up as bad. I think a better poll to take is "who cares about load time on their Blu-Ray player". Suppose your player loads a disc in 4 seconds compared to my 20. Who cares?? Is that really what bragging rights have come down to? It would be helpful to state the actual power-on-to-tray-out time, and the disk-in-to-image-out time for each "best" machine. FWIW, I have a Panny BD-35 and it has video playback as good as any player out there, and probably better than most. A recent magazine test concluded that currently you can't get better video playback at any price when reviewing the Panasonic BD-35..]]>Jan 10th 2009 9:05AM
