So 3D is back to fight off the acceptance of 3D in the theater, by bringing it to the home? how does that hurt 3D? how does that hurt anyone? modern 3D destroys the antiquated red and blue lensed glasses of the 50's in every way. Those were gimmicky, while Stereoscopic 3D actually has value.

And the PS3 is fully capable of handling stereoscopic 3D games.

I think all three current systems can handle it just fine. 3D is quickly becoming the future of viewing media, you don't have to like it, but that doesn't mean it isn't going to happen. I urge you to watch a movie in 3D IMAX, and tell me that its the same 3D your grandparents watched.
