Actually, in the 80's and early 90's a "name like Marantz" produced some products which could be deemed completely excrement but happily they are back on track now. This receiver looks like a monster.

Trusted Reviews is a rather NEW site with regard to AV Receivers only 7 AV receivers review thus far... I guess they have to start somewhere.

The SR 6003 is an intense piece of gear! I originally purchased an expensive Pioneer Elite and quickly took it back after being completely unimpressed with it's lack of sonic torque! At this price point, this thing completely blew the Elite away with sound pressure and dynamic clarity.
Highly recommended!!!
