It has only been a few days since Samsung made available firmware V2.3, and for anyone who downloaded it and found problems with it. The good news is today V2.4 is already available. I turned on my BD-P2500 this afternoon and was given notice that new firmware was availbale. The really good news is that this upgrade adds the DTS-HD HRA/MA feature we have been waiting for.
Other then having to do a complete Setup after upgrading the firmware, all the problems one may have had with V2.3, everything is working fine. I turned On film mode 24fps and it is working, where as in V2.3, I had a sync problem with the video.
All I can say is the combination of Samsung's new Touch of Color TV's (I have a 40inch 630) and the 2500 series Blu-ray player, everything you watch is great. When I checked out Netflix and started a movie in HD, the picture was as good as a Blue-ray dice.
