Because Samsung is generally better than the rest when it comes to flat panel LCD's. Not only is it equal or sometimes better in picture quality, it also has more features and are generally equal or cheaper than the rest. Also, their focus on the design of the flat panel sets is a standout from the rest of the group. Not only does it look good when turned on, it looks good when turned off.
