Amazon ready to begin HD streaming to TiVo?
Step aside NetFlix, looks like Amazon is finally ready to crash your HD streaming party. According to one reader, the "Available in High Definition" menu pick just appeared under his TiVo's Amazon Video on Demand menu. Nothing happens when he clicks it but we imagine that might get sorted by the time the sun comes back around the globe. Anyone else seeing this?

I'll check when I get home. I've been waiting for this!
However, the last few times I've tried to browse the service, my TiVo has hung up, requiring a reboot. I've never had to reboot a TiVo in all the years I've owned one. Anyone else having this issue?

Does Amazon have a monthly subscription like Netflix or is it pay per movie? I liked the Netflix deal better!

This is further proof, in my opinion, that downloads/streaming wont be able to take over the majority of movie watching/buying/renting. There are just too many options, too many companies all competing for us to do the same thing. Sometimes having too many options can be a bad thing, but this is just my opinion.
