I cancelled my Shaw awhile back (didn't watch it enough, probably reactivate it in a few months), but curious if Telus's offering is actually decent, I don't know anyone that uses it, and haven't heard much good.

Reapman

Comments on Telus TV nets Super Channel stations in Alberta / BC, Canada

Yes, I have now had Telus TV for 2 weeks. I ca't compaire to cable, besides that the package prices are about half. I did a movie search today which brought me to Super Channel, which I search the internet for, because its not listed in the pamphlet I recieved, which lead me to this article say its available. Saddly its Sunday night and the Telus office is closes, so I can't Try to order it.

But as for your question, I have used cable and satilite but not much, yet I find telus is a much better service for searchs and finding something worth while watching. I havn't been a fan of tv for almost 9 years, but now I'm always watching or recording so I can watch. Even the non-HD channels are very clear, although not all channels are listed because they upgrade from time to time, 29 are listed. And ordering a movie cost less then instores, plus one saves the time of shopping, and the ride costs for pick-up and returning.

On the downside telus has created a special phone number for telus tv, but one thing hasn't changed telus is always under staffed and with electronic glitches, and hold time on the phone, service repairs and installs take longer then they should.

Besides for this, Telus TV is the best TV entertainment package available. As for Grande Prairie I hope shaw starts replacing those wires they claim are to small of a guage and were installed in 1940's. Cable or Internet with shaw has never been what they promise in ads, and its also taking way too long for them to replace the wires.

All in all not just for Grande Prairie, but I think everyone should welcome Telus TV into their homes, and I hope Telus keeps adding channels, because I still can't get my parents fav. channel, and I'd love to have a channel from muchmusic in french also, being that I speak both, and those are the Primary Languages of Canada.

Great job Telus ! ! ! Keep up with the upgrades and don't forget many of us need work and you need it done.

Dream Spider

Comments on Telus TV nets Super Channel stations in Alberta / BC, Canada

ttv is great now -- could use some new HD offerings though =\

k
