It's not that movie critics were bowled over by the storyline of
Bolt, it's that most everyone who saw it in
3D came away at least reasonably impressed by the visuals. The film is far from being the first to see a widespread 3D release, but it is one of the first to be marketed as such. Unlike any time that we can remember before, Walt Disney pushed the third-dimension version of this flick hard, and we're interested to see if you felt it was worth sitting through with 3D glasses (and in some cases, paying more for). Like it or not, 3D is
here to stay (at least for awhile) -- can you see yourself catching another film in 3D after seeing
Bolt?

Took my 3 year old son to see it last Wednesday he LOVED it, the 3D was the best ever. REALLY TRIPPY.
Better than "Fly Me to the Moon" and MUCH better, VASTLY better than "Journey to the Center of the Earth"
I only hope that when it comes out on Blu-Ray that the 3D glasses from the movie theater work because we kept them.
My only issue with 3D is that the paper glasses that come with the DVD or Blu-Ray disc always SUCK and don't fit over a persons prescription glasses if they wear glasses. The REAL D glasses at the theater are great & fit right over my prescription lenses making the 3D a great experience.

the opening sequence is phenomenal, some of the effects they show from multiple angles, helicopters exploding, rockets launched from motorcycles...etc.......this movie appeals to young kids but is action packed & will entertain an older audience at the same time

3D hurt my eyes. But 3D is here to stay for sure.

Absolutely bad ass! I am loving the new 3-D, but I wish they'd make the lenses bigger--wrap around maybe-because there was a little bleed on my periphery.

I saw it, but not in 3D, I didn't realize until after I bought the tickets that we didn't get tickets for the 3D showing, which was fine, as my local theatre charges $4 extra for glasses "rental" And that is an up front cost, so you can't even bring your own. Sorry, im not THAT willing to see it in that 3D to pay $4 on top of $9. I probably will give in and see it soon though, I loved the movie so much I would see it again.

My only concern is when it gets to blu-ray, are we going to have to put up
with those paper glasses that make everything look black and white?

BOLT in 3D sucked! The 3D glasses were cheap and made the movie fuzzy. My grand daughter wouldn't wear the glasses. Made the movie hard to watch. What a waste of $60 bucks for 3 people for one movie! I loved Beowulf in 3D! The glasses were better quality. They were like a hard plastic lens while the Bold glasses had some cheap plastic film for the lens. Made a HUGE difference. I won't waste my money on another 3D movie if this is the future.
