you dare us to not be amazed? WTF? no one here has seen 720p videos or watched youtube vids?? or jus watches different quality vids in general?? yeah it's alot better, but if anyone used stage6, this was pretty standard for that site.
The point is that YouTube is bringing HD to the masses and making it easy. Has every body on Engadget HD seen HD? I would say they probably have. However, there is still millions of people out there that haven't, but they do use YouTube. The most popular or anything rarely has the newest technology first. Chances are though when this if finally launched, the "HD" video's will be of a decently higher caliber, as HD cameras are still a bit pricey.

YouTube is probably the single most popular video sharing website on the planet. The fact it's going HD is definitely newsworthy.
What'll be even more interesting to see is if MGM supports HD YouTube?
