That's a phenomenal deal.

That deal at Costco is for the D64U model and not the D65U.
The difference between the two (I think) is that the 65U has 120hz while the other only has 60hz refresh rate. I have the 64U and it's good enough for me.
So, that Costco deal is actually really good if you don't mind the 60hz refresh rate.

Just the Facts:
The D65 series is a 60hz set with 5 HDMI and the new UD rated Spectral Contrast engine that prevents colors from washing out when the panel is set in Dynamic. The remote now has a power save feature which activates the OPC feature without dimming the picture.
