Back in the real world most of us are - most of the time - still either receiving simulcast upscaled SD TV, or upscaling the vast majority of the TV content and movies we have or get ourselves.

The amount of true HD content available right now is minute compared to the SD stuff.

1. The SD comment was really aimed at analog SD, at least according to the article. The digital SD was so-so, like most HD sets I've seen, but analog was terrible.

2. Costco has this online at 2 for $1999. Just picked one up (with a friend). The difference between the two (I think) is that the 65U has 120hz while the other only has 60hz refresh rate. I have the 64U and it's good enough for me.

The remote now has a power save feature which activates the OPC feature without dimming the picture.
