Yeah...I'd be one of them if they would extend their service 400 ft down the street!! Why provide service for only 3/4 of the neighborhood?

I think its determined by where the main hub is put in your neighborhood, if it isn't close to you then you should talk to your city or town to ask why they wouldn't sell ATT a better piece of land to plant their huge box.

I hear ya. I moved a mile away from my old apartment where I had Uverse to a new apartment (which just so happens to be not 200ft away from an AT&T service hub) and I cannot get any AT&T service because Verizon owns the phone lines. However, I could have paid a $365 fee to remove some limitation from the line and use their services.
