Sharp's BD-HP21U / BD-HP50U Blu-ray players arrive in Canada
If Profile 1.1 is good enough for you, and you call yourself a Canuck, Sharp's latest pair of Blu-ray players are now available to purchase. Yep, the BD-HP21U and BD-HP50U, both of which were announced at CEDIA, have finally made the long trek to the Great North, and all of the specifications you saw before are still valid here. Pricing? $349.99 and $479.99 in order of mention.

I guess that's why FutureShop is currently selling the BD-HP20U for $199.

I've got the 20U player, and it's got some serious limitations. Hopefully these are better.

i'm sorry, sharp Bluray players are crap. All of them are so counterintuitive. They also feel and look cheap. What's been up with Sharp lately?
