Vicente Wolf easel HDTV stand provides artsy alternative to wall mounting
Too frightened to hang it on a wall, huh? How's about one of those rickety stands from Best Buy? If neither of those options sound very good, have a look at this unique stand from designer Vicente Wolf. The easel HDTV stand really exemplifies the whole "HDTV as a piece of art" mantra, and coupled with GalleryPlayer, you'd really have an easy time hosting the local arts and crafts club. To be frank, we're not so sure the unit you see above is exactly for sale, but even the greenest of DIYers should be able to concoct one of their own.

"but even the greenest of DIYers should be able to concoct one of their own."
Understatement of the year.

Not bad, not bad. The good thing about it is that is "portable."
I for one don't trust those overpriced piece of junk stands sold at Best Buy, or any other store.

It kind of looks like something that was used on the street to direct traffic that people had drawn all over. I guess if that's your thing...
But I have to agree with the comment made earlier. It's quite hideous.

Thank you for crediting this great way of keeping your HDTV portable, safely secured and looking smart to Vicente Wolf. He often uses easels as a great way to incorporate elegance into the den or living room.
While Vicente's clever use of an easel might have inspired the designer who created this space, this particular image is not a Vicente Wolf design.

I hope it's stronger than it looks.
